Heavy-cleaning brushes have carbon steel standard twist-knot bristles to remove paint, rust, deep scratches, and other contaminants from carbon steel surfaces. Crimped wire is flexible and conforms to contoured surfaces. Carbon steel bristles remove material at a high rate on iron, carbon steel, and wood. End brushes have a narrow head of compact bristles that fit into pipes, tight spaces, recessed sections of workpieces, and molds.
