These discs are typically used for paint or coating removal and feature the quick and easy twist-to-lock attachment system. The disc is an open-web construction impregnated with silicon carbide to provide aggressive and long-lasting performance. The extremely durable, three-dimensional web has a soft edge, allowing it to remove paint and other coatings in those unreachable creases and dents while removing very little metal. A Great for stripping paint without damaging metal especially on aluminum. Use with Shark 13012 Backing Pad, sold separately.
